HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the main markup language for displaying web pages and other information that can be displayed in a web browser. Learning to create pages and sites is like weaving your own threads through a world full of content called the Internet, or Net. This is the About Web Elements series.
HTML is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags enclosed in angle brackets (like <html>), within the web page content. HTML tags most commonly come in pairs like <h1> and </h1>, although some tags, known as empty elements, are unpaired, for example <img>. The first tag in a pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag (they are also called opening tags and closing tags). In between these tags web designers can add text, tags, comments and other types of text-based content. Our publications will hopefully help you uncover all you want to know about web elements. The first 10 in the series helps you learn basic HTML.
HTML5 is the ubiquitous platform for the web. Whether you're a mobile web developer, an enterprise with specific business needs, or a serious
game dev looking to explore the web as a new platform, HTML5 has something for you!
As of January 19, 2012, digital storytelling changed forever. It is no longer just virtual bricks and mortar, it is now virtually anything you can imagine. This is the An iBuild Opportunity series. Basically, if you can think it, you can create a digital story about it, share it with the world, and who knows, maybe even beyond that. Many of these ebooks show some relatively easy methods to learn to share your story using the authoring application that created them.
The ability to share is one of our most important assets. Communication is the sharing of ideas, thoughts, words, and sounds. Some of us can communicate with little assistance while some of us need a little more help. This is exactly
where the Communication Options Web (COW) can assist everyone. Whether you're an early learner or an autistic student or a special needs person, these books and the A2Z4U&me can help you build your vocabulary in very interactive ways.
We introduce Layers, our beginning into Digital Imaging. Layers are used in almost every application you use on your computer, cell phone, tablet, or portable device. In the Help Section, there are 50 references to Layers. We will try to cover the basics for Amazing Photo Editing projects. Next we will learn how to edit and manipulate images in amazing ways. This is the Amazing Photo Editing series. This series uses Adobe Photoshop Elements, but you may use any image editing application that has similar features.
